Ensure universal access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy services. The goals for 2030 include obtaining affordable and reliable energy while increasing the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix. This will include improving energy efficiency and strengthening international cooperation to facilitate more open access to clean energy technology and investment in clean energy infrastructure. The plans call for special attention to be given to infrastructure support for least developed countries, small islands and landlocked developing countries.
